BRAKES
36 hours of class focused on how to rebuild and repair the total brake system, including subsystems, ABS, and the components that go into the brakes. Combined with hands-on practice to teach common symptoms and diagnoses of these systems for repairs, including new materials used in brakes, and electronics that run in several brake systems.

ELECTRIC
36 hours of classes focusing on theory and procedure of
electricity in a car. Students will learn with practice to diagnose
and subsystems provide computerized information, including CAN,
LIN, ISO, and other common systems. The course will also cover air bag systems, electronic accessories, and speed control. High voltage
systems and hybrids will also be covered.

ENGINE
96 hours of classes focusing on theory and servicing of modern car engines. Students will learn how the components are designed and how they work to support the operations of the machine with the help of the practice and the reconstruction that shows all the parts of an automobile engine.

HVAC
36 hours of classes focusing on the operation, diagnosis, and repair of air conditioning systems and heating and assemblies found in many brands and models of cars that students will find at work. Hands on training teaches how to solve and repair difficult problems and includes preventative maintenance of many components.

Suspension
36 hours of classes focused on diagnosing and repairing the suspension and steering system in a car and SUV's. Students learn to practice how to solve common problems in the sub-systems and the common parts, including tires, shocks, springs, straps, and alignment.

TRANSMISSION
96 classroom hours focusing on the design, construction, and parts of the transmission. Students will learn to discover and fix problems, and also learn service procedures required to maintain and repair a transmission. Students begin with an important introduction to the basics of the drive unit, a review of electronic components, parts directly engaged in the transmission, and circulation in the reconstruction and repair of internal parts. Includes introduction to variable transmissions (CVT), traction 2x4 and 4x4 and advanced controls.
